An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a maternity leave substitute teacher post which will commence on 29th August 2024 and will continue until the end of June 2025.
St. Michael's House Grosvenor School, Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18 is a Special School for pupils with a Moderate or Severe/Profound General Learning Disability.
The school is situated within three minutes walk of
the Central Park Luas Stop, and it is close to Exit 14 of the M50.
The class in question caters for 6 students with a moderate learning disability, all of whom are on the autism spectrum. At present there is one teacher and two special needs assistants in the class. All enquires are welcome. A visit to the school can be arranged by contacting the principal John Fitzpatrick on 086-6038241
This is the second of two Maternity Leave substitute teacher positions. The first Maternity Leave Post will commence on 27th May 2024 and will last until the 22nd November 2024. The length of the post may be extended. (See separate advertisement)
