The present teaching staff comprises of currently 1 Admin Principal, 10 Class Teachers, 5 SETs, 1 ASD Class Teacher and 5 SNAs.
Applicants must be registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland (Route 1 - Primary), be fully Garda vetted and have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a recognised primary school in Ireland.
The roles and responsibilities of the post of Principal Teacher are determined by the four domains of Leadership and Management as set out in chapter 4 of Circular 0044/2019.

2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity
In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
An understanding and a commitment to the school's Catholic ethos and an ability to support and promote school/parish links.
An in-depth knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and a range of teaching experience.
Understanding and knowledge of Special Educational Needs, ASD, inclusion and diversity in education.
Excellent people management and communication skills and an ability to foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider community.
A commitment to and evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
