POST DETAILS
Additional Information:
This post is for 0.4 (12 hours 48minutes) of an SNA position. The role will involve working the five days of the school week.
Candidates should have the minimum qualifications as set out by the Department of Education.
The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014.
The following is desirable:
- Child Protection training and certification.
- Experience of working with children with ASD and a variety of needs.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour, non-verbal communication needs and promoting participation and integration from a special class into mainstream classes.
- A strong work ethic and flexibility.
- Be kind, patient and empathetic.
Appointment is subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references, up to date Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
