An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is and SET maternity leave position running from the 6th November to the 6th May 2024.
Applicants with SET and ASD experience, with a knowledge of team teaching and the various assessments used within SET is preferrable.
All school staff are expected to engage in relevant CPD, have a strong work ethic and respect the school ethos. Candidates are required to be flexible, positive and work well in a team environment.
Appointment will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements. Teaching Council Registration, Occupational Health screening and completion on the online TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training. Leighlinbridge N.S. is a Catholic school therefore; a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is essential.
