An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Joseph’s National School invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for one permanent SNA post (0.83 hours). The applicant must be flexible, and responsive to the needs of the children in our school. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic applicants who can contribute to our team. Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children in our school. Good ICT skills is desirable.
Appointment is subject to current garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening. Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary panel with Supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of their panel form (PF1) with their application.
The position is subject to SENO review.
Canvassing will disqualify without exception.
Only shortlisted candidates for interview will be contacted. Those shortlisted will be requested to provide copies of certificates etc. for interview.
