An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
Clonmoney NS is a mainstream school with 8 classes. This is a 0.83 SNA (Junior Day) position and will involve working with children with a variety of care needs across the school.
The appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014.
Candidates should have relevant qualifications as per DES Guidelines, Child Protection training & Certification as well as relevant experience of working with and supporting pupils with complex care needs, toileting & eating, sensory needs, communication difficulties and varying degrees of learning disability.
