An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 31st August, 2023 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Meath. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 5th September, 2023 . The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 8th September 2023. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.

Scoil Oilibhéir Naofa is a vibrant Junior school situated close to Bettystown beach. For the school year 2023-24 we will have four classes at each level from Junior Infants to 2nd class and three special classes.

Applications are invited from teachers interested in working in an inclusive Junior school. The application should outline in detail the skills and attributes you have that you will use if successful to enhance our school.
