An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Brooklodge National School is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Cork & Ross.

Brooklodge National School invites applications for a SNA position under a 0.83 contract. This is arising due to an internal job-share. The successful candidate will be required to work hours as set out by the National Agreements and this post is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per DE guidelines.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel please state this in the letter of application and attach the relevant PF1 Form.

Successful candidate will be working with children with a wide range of special needs. Experience with such would be beneficial.

Interviews are scheduled to take place the week of 21st August.
Croke Park hours for staff on 29th August with school starting for pupils on 30th August.

Contract will commence on 1st September with the first two days of the school term offered in a substitute capacity.
