An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of St. Laserian's School seek to fill 1 permanent, and 1 fixed term class teacher positions through this process.
St Laserian's is a special school, we educate students aged 4-18 with Mild, Moderate, and Severe to Profound I.D. Many students have complex needs.
Applicants should have experience of working with children/young adults with ASD, Severe to Profound I.D. epilepsy, ADHD, as well as children/young adults with physical disabilities, medical, and personal care needs. Experience in using LÁMH is desirable. Applicants should have knowledge and experience of managing behaviours of concern.
