An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This Post is based in Emper NS & is a one year (Fixed-term) position to cover Principal Release Days in the following 5 schools: Base School-Emper N.S., Boher N.S., Milltown N.S., Forgney
N.S. and Moyvore N.S. This post is assigned to facilitate administrative/office days for Principals. A calendar of days in each school is planned in advance. As a shared post, travel expenses are
payable. The post will involve teaching in various educational settings, hence Special Education and Multi-grade experience is desirable. Full Probation preferred. Compliance with Statutory
Requirements for Garda Vetting, Teaching Council Registration and satisfaction of all relevant DES requirements is a necessity. Please submit letter of application together with a Standard Application Form, along with two written references in addition to the name and contact details of 2 additional referees & Certificate to teach Catholic Religion to The Chairperson, Board of Management, Emper N.S., Parochial House, Milltown, Rathconrath, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
by 5pm on 13th June 2023.
