An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Closing date for applications is Monday 12th June 2023 at 12 noon.

This is for one mainstream class teacher (fixed term) for the school year 2023/24.

Teaching Council Certificate must accompany application and NVB (Garda Vetting) Reference Number.

Please ensure you hold the relevant qualifications in adherence with Circular 31/2011.

There is also a mainstream class teacher (substitute) position in the school and this is advertised separately. If you wish to apply for both positions please indicate this in your letter of application.

One application form for both positions will suffice.

In the event that the successful candidate subsequently withdraws from the offer of mainstream class teacher (fixed term position) other candidated on panel interviewed will be offered the post in order of interview placing.

We plan to hold interviews on Thursday 22nd June 2023 in Billis National School. (This date may be subject to change)
