Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Both positions are for infant hours (0.83).
Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. It is essential to have practical experience working with non-verbal children, dealing with challenging behaviours, toiletting needs, etc. Must have experience with TEACCH, PECs and ABA methods. Experience, skills and qualifications in the area of Autism and working with young children are necessary.
Applicants must submit a copy of current Garda Vetting and Statutory Declaration.
Applicants on the SNA panel should submit PF1 form with application, if applicable.
There will be a Fixed Term (0.5/job-share) position also advertised. One application for all applications will suffice. Please specify on the Letter of Application which position you are interested in.
