An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St Felim's NS, Cavan Town invite applications for the position of permanent Special Needs Assistant. We are a Senior Boys school (2nd - 6th Classes), DEIS Band I with two Speech and Language Classes.
Candidates are required to have minimum requirements as per DES circular 0051/2019
We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the school and children, someone who is kind, enthusiastic, energetic, can contribute to our team. Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD course which relate to the needs of the children and the school. The successful candidate will be expected to respect student and teacher confidentiality at all times.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
