An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Iosaf has been designated by the Department of Education as a base school for a Primary Supply Panel. The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave.

Supply panel teachers will:
-be appointed to Scoil Iosaf (the base school) under a fixed-term contract for one year,
-be required to provide substitute cover in all schools in a designated cluster and may be deployed into a variety of settings including various class standards, special education settings and Irish medium schools.
-Applicants for this post must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education.

Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015.
