An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Setanta is a school for students with ASD aged 12 to 18. Students also have mild or moderate general learning disabilities. Experience in Special Education, particularly ASD, is an advantage. Setanta employs both primary and secondary teachers and utilises both the primary and secondary curriculum, including L1LP and L2LP. Setanta is a Droichead school. Maximum 6 students and minimum 2 SNAs per class. The ability to work as part of a team is a necessity. Fixed Term post until 31/08/23.
