An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Red Door School is a school for children with Autism and complex needs. Experience working with children with ASD in a special school setting will be a distinct advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in the use of augmentative communication and assistive teaching technologies for pupils with ASD, demonstrate the ability to work within a team, have experience working from behavioural support plans and managing challenging behaviour.

The vacancies outlined in this advertisement is in one of the schools ASD classes with an age range of 5-8 years of age. The contract is from January-June 30th 2023.
Please note the school is also looking for a regular pool of teacher substitutes.
