An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applications are invited for the position of Permanent Special Needs Assistant in Phoenix Park Specialist School (Roll no. 19500B).

Phoenix Park Specialist School is a Multi-denominational, specialist placement primary school for pupils experiencing Severe Emotional Disturbance and/or Behavioural Problems (Severe EBD)

We are looking for a progressive and enthusiastic SNA who believes in the importance of nurture, inclusion and trauma informed practice.

Qualifications & experience of crisis deescalation / intervention (e.g. CPI Pivotal MAPA) are desirable, but not essential.
