Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This SNA post is for infant hours. Proficiency in Irish Sign Language is essential. The post will remain in position only as long as the particular needs in relation to ISL remain in the school.
The SNA will provide communication support through Irish Sign Language for a specific pupil. Duties will also relate to supporting communication with teachers, staff and other pupils. The successful candidate will also be required to support the school in upskilling our whole school capacity in ISL.
