An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is an infant day position (0.83).

Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per the DES guidelines.
Candidates should be flexible, and able to work both on their own initiative and in a team capacity. Excellent communication skills, along with a willingness to engage in further training is essential.
Candidates will be required to work with children who have ASD needs. Previous experience in working with children with ASD or complex needs is desirable.
Initial duties of the post may change depending on the care needs of the children.
The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible as work may be allocated in a number of classrooms.
The appointment will be subject to Garda Vetting, Occupational Health Screening, and completion of Tusla online child Safeguarding training.
