An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a position for a SNA with a Junior day (0.83 of a post).
Experience in the following areas would be desirable:
Skills working with children with special needs such as care needs, toileting and changing /adjusting of stints.
First aid training and IT skills would be desirable.
The successful candidate must show a willingness to work as part of a team and part take in school activities.
Appointments will be subject to Garda Vetting and occupational health screening.
Applicants who are deemed to be a member of the SNA Supplementary Panel please state this in your letter of application and attach the relevant PF1 Form.
The initial duties may change according to the care needs of the pupil.
