Ofsted Good School - Reading - Vacancy for Business Teacher
Engage Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely OFSTED Good school in Reading, England. We have worked with this school for many years and currently have 2 Irish Business studies teachers working in the school. It’s an excellent opportunity to be part of a school that knows how to support Overseas trained teachers whilst benefiting from an excellent CPD program.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of Business for a lovely school in Berkshire, Reading, for September 2022. This school is a highly successful comprehensive school (1658 on roll, including 366 in the Sixth Form) situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the west of Reading, with good access to road and rail links. The school has recently benefited from a significant and transformational building project, opening a new £15 million main block in spring 2021. As a school, we pride ourselves on our Continuing Professional Development Programme, which supports teachers to continually improve their practice in innovative ways, collaborating with other members of staff.
About you:
Monitor and track student progress at KS4 and plan intervention programmes as required;
Be passionate about Business and have the desire to share that passion with students;
Be an innovative and inspiring classroom teacher;
Be able to work collaboratively with a diverse team to enhance teaching and learning at Key Stage 4.
The teacher will be paid on the Main Pay Scale for England and there is also the opportunity for a post of responsibility as Key Stage 4 leader of Business.
