Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applicants holding a Panel Form 1 (PF1) should clearly state this and supply a copy of the form as part of their application.
Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic and flexible in their approach. They should possess a positive, can-do attitude and be able to work from their own initiative.
Candidates should be willing to become part of a dynamic team and be willing to work under the guidance and discretion of the school Principal. All school staff are expected to engage in the relevant CPD and respect the ethos of the school.
Knowledge and experience working with children with EBD (Emotional and Behaviour Disorder) is desirable.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of Children First online training.
