An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The filling of this post is subject to the post not being required for the main redeployment process.
This is a full time, fixed term teaching post, covering the principal release days in 10 schools in the West Clare area and therefore the teaching duties may vary. Doonaha NS is the base school for these positions. As travel is a requirement, applicants for this position must have a full, clean drivers licence and access to the necessary transport. The appointees may claim travel expenses in line with the Department of Educations and skills circulars in relation to same.
The following are desirable:
Full probation.
Experience in a Multi-Grade setting.
Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Good organisational and planning skills.
Applicants must hold a certificate in RE to be eligible for appointment.
Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of: Teaching Council Registration and qualifications, full driving licence and a copy of insurance.
Appointment is subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current and continued registration with the teaching council, current Garda Vetting and OHS requirements.
