An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

In order to be eligible for appointment candidates must have a Certificate to teach R.E. The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable: Probation, Qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Evidence of behaviour management skills, Experience in Guided reading and Team-teaching in Maths and Literacy Lift Off. Experience of teaching children with special needs in a mainstream setting. Please detail how you meet these requirements in your letter of application.
Your application must also be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of 3 professional referees. Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications, Teaching Council registration and teaching practice grades.
