An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applications are invited for the following SNA posts in our school: 2x full-time SNA position (32 hours per week), and 1x substitute position to cover a full-time (32 hours per week) SNA career break for 1 year.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA supplementary panel, with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed PF1 form with the application.

The following are required qualifications/competencies:
- Minimum qualifications as outlined in Circular 0036/2020
- Other relevant qualifications in the field of Special Educational Needs
- Experience of Lámh/PECS
- Experience of working with children with ASD - experience of working in an outreach class for pupils with ASD is particularly desirable.
- Experience of working with children with hearing and/or visual impairments
- Flexibility and willingness to contribute to a developing school

The successful candidate’s appointment will be subject to Garda Vetting and Medmark clearance.
