An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is to cover Principal Release days between 6 and 8 county Cork schools.
The position involves travelling (allowances payable) between schools in accordance with an agreed calendar. Aghabullogue N.S. will be the base school.

The exact list of schools is not yet finalised and is subject to change depending on guidelines and approvals from the Department of Education and School Patrons and Boards of Management. You will be notified of the schools in the cluster prior to interview should you be short-listed.

The successful candidate must be fully probated with full Teaching Council registration. Experience teaching all class levels, including multi-grade, as well as a sound knowledge of Special Education is desirable.
Some schools in the cluster may be Irish-Speaking schools.

Good classroom management skills, planning skills and flexibility are essential skills for this position.
