Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Sonas Special Junior Primary School caters for children aged 3-6 years old with a diagnosis of ASD. Candidates must have knowledge and experience of working with children of this age group in an ASD specific school or class. Experience in the use of PECS, Lámh, TEACCH, IT and Positive Behaviour Supports will be required in this school. The ability to work as part of a strong team under the direction of the Class Teacher is desirable.
Two of the 32 hour Fixed Term Positions have arisen from Career Breaks, one 32 hour Fixed Term Position has arisen from a vacancy created by a Job Share and one 16 hour Fixed Term Position has arisen as a result of a Job Share.
