An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Lissenhall National School is a mainstream school with an ASD Class attached. The successful SNA will be required to work in both settings.

The position is a permanent Junior Day position equal to 0.83 of a full post.

It is desirable that the SNA would have experience of working with children with a diagnosis of ASD as well as having experience of working with children with medical/physical needs.
