Title:
NCSE Support Service - Advisor Positions - (Secondment Opportunities)
Description:
The NCSE Support Service works with schools to develop schools’ capacity to support students with special educational needs and to promote a continuum of educational provision which is inclusive and responsive.
The NCSE Support Service provides:
• Continual Professional Development (CPD) and support for teachers in the area of special educational needs (SEN) to enhance the quality of learning and teaching in relation to SEN provision
• Support and expertise to schools on issues related to behaviour
• Support for the allocation of teaching and care supports to schools.

A number of full time secondment positions at Advisor level are required to support the work of this service. These positions will be located in areas throughout the country.

The closing date for applications is 5.00 pm on Friday 21st February 2020.
All applicants must be qualified, serving teachers/ deputy principals/principals, fully registered with the Teaching Council and must currently hold a post in a recognised primary or post-primary school or be on secondment from such a position.
Selection will be by way of competitive interview. Short-listing may apply.
