An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The School Bus Escort accompanies and supervises pupils attending St. Michael's House Special National School on the journey to and from School. The School Bus Escort’s working hours are approximately 7.30am until 9.30am and from 2.30pm until 4.30pm for the duration of the school calendar. Candidates should have experience in working with children with disabilities and be able to work with parents and school staff in a professional way. School Bus Escorts will be expected to travel to and from an agreed pick-up and drop-off point to meet the bus driver. Training will be provided. Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting form. Hourly rate of pay will be €14.12 per hour including 8% holiday pay; Bus Escorts are not be paid during school holidays.
