Bus Escort
Kildare Town Community School is a co-educational post primary school under the joint trusteeship of Kildare & Wicklow Educational and Training Board and the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin.
Applications are invited for the position of Bus Escort to accompany students on their journey by bus/taxi to and from school.
The hours of work will be as follows for the duration of the school calendar:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 7.45am – 8.45am and 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Friday: 7.45am – 8.45am and 1.20pm – 2.20pm.
The hourly rate of pay will be €13.88 (inclusive of holiday pay). Bus Escorts are not paid during school holidays. The escort must have their own transport to and from the drop-off point.
The Bus Escort must have a caring disposition. Experience in working with children with intellectual disabilities and ASD is desirable.
The person appointed will ideally hold an appropriate qualification (QQI/FETAC award or equivalent). They will be expected to commit to promoting and upholding the Kildare Town Community School ethos (see www.ktcs.ie).
Applications should include a covering letter, Curriculum Vitae, two Referees and proof of Garda Vetting (if possible).
