An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Class Teacher required (fixed-term contract to cover a career break) required for St. Ita’s and St. Joseph’s Special School, under the Patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of the Kerry Diocese (14 Class Teacher School +5 specialist subject teachers). Please include the Application Form which can be downloaded from www.educationposts.ie as well as copies of Garda vetting and teaching council registration to the Chairperson of the Board of Management. Experience in Special Needs would be beneficial. The initial duties of the post may change with regard to curricula or syllabi being taught to suit the needs of the school.
