An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Joseph's Adolescent School is a special school that caters for adolescents ages 13 to 18, experiencing mental health difficulties. Most of our students are enrolled in a mainstream secondary school and attend our school on a short term basis, (for approx. 6 weeks), while attending St. Joseph's Adolescent Mental Health Service. We are looking for a teacher to join our team to cover principal admin days, sick leave, in-service release days, maternity leave, etc.

Our aim is to:
- provide our students with access to a broad and fulfilling curriculum;
-support them to rebuild lost skills and build on current skills;
-regain self-confidence;
-experience a sense of enjoyment in learning;
-support them to return to their mainstream school.

We would love to welcome a new enthusiastic teacher to our team who is flexible and adaptable to meeting the needs of our students.
An experience of teaching a wide range of subjects is desirable.
