Candidates should have knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs and be familiar with Lamh, PECS etc. Previous experience in a special school setting is desirable. The candidate should have experience working with pupils who present with challenging behaviour. First Aid and Manual Lifting training would be an advantage.
