The Board of Management seeks to appoint a Principal to lead the Sacred Heart Primary School into its next phase. The successful candidate must demonstrate a significant and ongoing commitment to education. The responsibility of leading this school will require strong leadership and motivational skills. You should demonstrate proven ability to work as a member of a team. The Principal will have excellent communication skills and experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload. You will need to develop, implement, operate and evaluate innovative school-based initiatives. In Autumn, 2018 an ASD class will commence and there are Pre-School and After School classes in situ.
Your application must be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of 3 referees.
Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and teaching council registration. The applicants for this position must have a Certificate to Teach R.E. You will be invited to make a short presentation to the interview panel. Appointment will be subject to Vetting requirements as detailed in DES Circular 0031/2016 & Occupational Health Screening.
