An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Post 1 : This post is a fixed term position to cover a career break for the duration of the 2024 & 25 Academic year
Post 2: This post is a job share post for the Academic Year 24 & 25 and is shared with a permanent SNA in the school.
Saplings Special School Goresbridge is a school for pupils with Autism and other complex needs, aged 4 to 18 years. Applicants should have the minimum qualifications as per DES circular 44/2014. Experience of working with pupils with autism and intellectual disabilities is essential. Evidence of CPD in the area of special needs would be advantageous.
The successful candidates should show that they are able to work as part of a team and participate fully in all school activities, and should demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. They will be required to complete the usual documentation for the Primary Sector including Garda Vetting and Medmark assessment, and will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils at all times.
