Scoil Bhríde, Suncroft, is a co-educational Catholic school in the diocese of Kildare & Leighlin. The school's Patron is Bishop Denis Nulty. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to continue to lead and strengthen the Catholic ethos of the school.
The successful candidate must have a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education.
Scoil Bhríde, Suncroft, is a vibrant school in the hub of the local community, with strong links to local community groups and sporting organisations. We are approved to open two ASD classes and propose to open the classes as a priority. When both classes open, the role would become an administrative one.
Candidates should:
Demonstrate the ability to work enthusiastically with all staff. Have strong leadership and people development skills.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and should have a good understanding of cohesive team building.
Have experience in developing and leading a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
Have a high level of competence and experience around policy development.
Be able to provide evidence of and a high level of commitment to ongoing professional development.
The post is being readvertised because of a change in start date and an omission in the previous advertisement. Previous applicants have been contacted and asked to resubmit their application in line with the current requirements.
