Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in nurturing children's curiosity in a respectful manner and will be committed to providing high-quality learning experiences in our blended indoor-outdoor setting.
Key Responsibilities:
•Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences based on the interests and needs of individual children, following a child-led, emergent curriculum.
•Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and discover.
•Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote holistic growth and development.
•Observe and document children's progress and development, using assessment tools to inform planning and support each child's unique learning journey.
•Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, building strong partnerships and providing regular updates on children's learning and development.
•Maintain a safe and clean learning environment, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
•Level 5 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
•Previous experience working in a preschool or early years setting.
•Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
•Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
•Knowledge of child development theory and best practices in early childhood education.
•First Aid and Child Protection training (desirable).
