The post is a Job Share post in special education, but is subject to change at the determination of the principal.
Doora N.S. is a Catholic school. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
Doora N.S. is seeking to appoint a team player who is willing to contribute to the
overall development of the school.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are expected:
*Probation
*Experience of teaching in a similar sized co-educational school
*Third Level postgraduate qualification or evidence of ongoing CPD in Special
Education would be advantageous.
*Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Aistear, Literacy Lift-Off, IEP’s, Standardised Testing, Guided Reading, Running
Records, IT for SEN, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
*Interests/skills/experience in dance are advantageous.

qualifications, Teaching Council registration and teaching practice grades.
