1. Have a Certificate to teach Religious Education; in addition the following skills are essential /desirable.
2. Previous teaching experience across all classes in a multigrade school with special interest / commitment to promoting music, the arts, Gaeilge, Irish culture, sport & extracurricular activities among the pupils.
3. Evidence of continuing & relevant professional development.
4. Evidential experience of managing people in any setting.
5. Proven ability to work as part of a team.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Experience in prioritising, planning & organising workload.
8. Proven Leadership skills.
9. Experience in the development, implementation, operation , evaluation and innovative of school based initiatives.
10. An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School.
11. Previous experience in Policy Development.
12. ICT Skills to a high level.
