Cherryfield Nursery & Montessori require a Baby Room Leader to work alongside our team:
DUTIES INCLUDED:
caring for children aged 6 months-1.5 years
catering to their every need
creating routine curriculum for the babies in your care
enriching the lives of our babies to ensuring their development needs are met
maintaining the upkeep and hygiene within the nursery
adhering to nursery policy & procedures
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION ESSENTIALS:
Minimum FETAC level 5 Desirable level 6 2 years experience in a similar role
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
1. A through working knowledge and understanding of childcare practice and policy – ie: Pre-school regulations 2006, Children First Guidelines, child development.
2.Knowledge of Aistear and the ability to integrate it into the curriculum
3.Knowledge of Siolta and the ability to adhere to the standards and integrate them into the service.
4.Experience in planning a curriculum and carrying out planned activities.
5.Experience working in a full day care childcare setting.
6.Experience working in a room in a leadership role
7 Experience in communicating with a staff team and with carers of the children in the childcare service.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
1.Excellent communication and interpersonal skilll
.2. Ability to plan, organise and be creative in finding practical logistical solutions.
3.Ability to motivate self/staff and make confident decisions.
4.Ability to promote a high quality service from all aspects of service delivery.
