An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applications via email only. Applications must be submitted by midnight on Monday 24th July. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 2nd August. Candidates submitting a PF1 form must do so at the time of application.

Applicants must have a minimum of Special Needs Assistant QQI/FETAC Level 5 Qualification or equivalent. An additional qualification in Special Education, including autism, Lámh and First Aid is desirable. Knowledge and experience of supporting multiple children with different needs in a mainstream primary setting is desirable.
