The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 15th day of June, 2017 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Archdiocese of Dublin. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 19th day of June, 2017. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 22nd day of June, 2017. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.

The Support Teacher position is shared between Scoil Íosagáin and Marist National School in Crumlin. The role of the support teacher is to work on SPHE programmes with individuals or small groups of children. It involves behaviour modification, anger management, identifying and expressing emotions, building up self-esteem, team work and other areas of the SPHE curriculum.
