An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Thank you for considering a teaching post in a school providing an education for students with General Learning Disabilities (GLDs).
St Brigid's is a Special School catering for 89 students aged 4-18 who have designated ability termed Mild or Moderate GLDs. Ideally the successful applicant will be fully probated and have previous experience in a Special School setting. The completion of Post-Graduate in CPD or SEN would be advantageous. The successful applicant can be assigned to any class throughout the school. Qualifications and/or experience in Aistear, Lámh and Behaviours that Challenge also desirable. Current Teaching Council Registration and Certificate in RE required. A panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a 4 month period from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
All copies of qualifications, teaching practice grades etc will be requested from candidates shortlisted for interview.
