Applicants for this post must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education.
In addition the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
Experience in management or leadership,
Experience of teaching a multi-grade class,
Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development,
Proven ability to work as a member of a team,
Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives,
Líofacht agus suim ar leith sa Ghaeilge,
Commitment to promoting participation in Sport and Music,
An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school,
Previous experience in policy development.
Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and teaching council registration. Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: Satisfactory references; Current and Continuing Teaching Council Registration; Vetting requirements as detailed in DES Circular 0031/2016; Occupational Health Screening.
Closing date for receipt of applications will be 5pm on Wednesday 29th June.
