This position is also for the role of DEPUTY PRINCIPAL.
Charleville CBS Primary is a senior boys school. We cater for boys from 2nd to 6th Class in our Mainstream Classes while also catering for Junior Infants to Sixth Class in our Special Classes.
The school is located in Charleville which is a small town located on the main Limerick - Cork route.
We are a progressive school which is going through a period of great change at the moment with increasing enrolments and an entire new SEN Department recently opened. We currently operate an ASD Class as well as a Severe EBD Class. Further development of our ASD classes is imminent.
High standards of teaching and learning are expected and achieved in our school. We are also involved in numerous extra curricular activities in which all teachers are actively encouraged to participate in and promote throughout the school community.
We are seeking an ambitious, dedicated person who has excellent leadership skills and who is willing to work as part of our Senior Management Team in leading our school community here at CBS Primary. Excellent communication skills are required in managing a large community of pupils, staff and parents. OVERALL WE ARE SEEKING A TEAM PLAYER WHO WILL WORK WELL WITH ALL OUR STAFF & GREATER SCHOOL COMMUNITY FOR THE BENFIT OF THE BOYS IN OUR SCHOOL.
For remuneration purposes it should be noted that our school will be a 14 Teacher school (including Principal) in September 2017. The number of staff in our school is predicted to continue to grow as a result of an increasing pupil population.
