An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Teacher required for maternity leave cover from 31st August to February 2018.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Experience teaching pupils who have Moderate GLD, Severe and Profound GLD, ASD or EBD
-Additional qualifications in Special Education or Early Childhood Education eg Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education or Autism
-Training in, and experience of using, PECS, LAMH, TEACCH, ABA, Social Stories, ABLLS, AFLS, Augmentative Communication Devices, Behaviour Management or MAPA
