An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

2 Permanent teaching positions with initial duties in a a special class( ASD) or mainstream.The Board of Management initially advertised these permanent vacancies on the website www.staffroom.ie on the 1st of June , 2017 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kilmore. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 6th of June , 2017. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the Kilmore Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on that website to the 8th day of June, 2017. The board of management is now proceeding to fill these permanent vacancies through open competition. Classes have not been allocated yet so applicants are advised that at least one of these vacancies could be for a special ASD class. Please include Inspector's Reports with your application.
Desirable skills: Experience of working with children with ASD, Experience using TEACCH, Lámh and PECS.
