An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Ard Rí is a Community National School under the patronage of the LMETB. We are a state operated, multi-denominational, inclusive school that welcomes all children from the local community. These schools are progressive yet rooted in the best of tradition. Ard Rí Community NS was opened in 2010 and we are a developing school. We expect to have 225 children on roll by September 2017. 2017 is a big year for the school as it will be our first time to have a Sixth Class. There is a serious level of commitment expected in a school like this but it also presents an exciting opportunity for a teacher to be part of a vibrant and innovative school. The positions being offered include mainstream class positions and one learning support position. Some positions are permanent and others are temporary.
