An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The duties associated with this post are initially those of Mainstream Class Teacher, however these duties may, at the discretion of the school, be subject to change. The fixed-term contract is for the 2017 / 2018 school year. Applications to be submitted by email only. In order to be eligible for appointment candidates for this position must have a certificate to teach R.E. The following skills and experience are desirable: previous teaching experience in a multi-grade setting, experience of Team Teaching in Literacy / Numeracy, interest in sport / music, ard-chaighdeán sa Ghaeilge. In your letter of application please detail how you meet the requirements above. Please also include information on the Teaching Practice Grades you obtained (formal documented proof is not required at this juncture as it will be requested of candidates short-listed for interview). Your application must also be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of three professional referees. Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications, teaching council registration and teaching practice grades. Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: satisfactory references, current & continuing Teaching Council Registration; Vetting requirements as detailed in DES Circular 031/2016; Occupational Health Screening.
